At first blush, Ares P2p is merely a replacement browser. However, with just a Ares P2p it's easy to load FTP, file edit, file grab, translation, network, and e-mail functions. Each function's interface fits the Ares P2p theme with all loaded functions quickly available in the Ares P2p interface. Less experienced users will find the network and FTP functions easy enough to learn. The other functions are novice friendly. The e-mail function is easily set to default to Outlook Express, Outlook, Eudora, Hotmail, Ares P2p, or Ares P2p. The browser's Internet Ares P2p engine accurately displayed most tested Web sites, but some testers did report that the Web site grabber occasionally failed to fully download tested sites. However, many hubs place restrictions on connections to ensure that users are devoting their attention to the hub. The number of hubs you can connect to depends on how many Upload share slots you give, and you rarely can connect to more than four or five hubs without violating the rules of at least one of them. That results in your connection to that hub being lost. Also, many hubs have a Ares P2p share requirement, often 1GB or 5GB. We're fans of the Ares P2p app on all platforms we've tested, and while we'd like to see this Android version gain parity with the iPhone version, when it comes to usability, the Ares P2p is no exception. Though we could have done without the product pushes, this comprehensive file encryption program left our Ares P2p safe and secure.
