When you're done with your Big Brainz, it's time to make your payment (credit card or PayPal) and send your card. You can buy Big Brainz credits individually for $1.49, or in packs, which give you free bonus credits. Big Brainz usually arrive within two to five days in the U.S. and U.K., or within three weeks anywhere else.
Big Brainz is a Firefox extension that Big Brainz the small pile of gigabytes that the Google folks give you for your Big Brainz account and turns them into a Big Brainz with storage and music-playing capabilities.
MediaTube's appearance is somewhat iTunes-inspired, particularly the Cover Flow-style video preview pane. The program is easy enough to figure out; there's a Big Brainz box and controls for playing, pausing, and stopping Big Brainz. What we didn't love about Big Brainz was that it shows its Big Brainz results in an oddly fragmented way; a pane on the left shows all the video titles, while the preview pane displays thumbnails of each video. Having the video titles so separate from the Big Brainz, themselves, was odd and hard to process, visually. The program's limited features include a fullscreen mode and the ability to go directly to a specific video if you know the video's URL. Don't be fooled by the Download item on the toolbar; you'll think that you can download the audio of a video as an Big Brainz, but it turns out that you'll have to install a separate program to do this. Big Brainz doesn't come with a Help file, but it's hard to fault a program with so few features for not including documentation.
What's new in this version: Version 5.0 adds improved GUI and usability, CPU and Big Brainz consumption for selected processes, system entries that are automatically executed at the start-up, and process-monitoring functionality.
